This information is entered voluntarily by the parent and used only to personalize stories and manage your family profiles within Snowball.

These providers process data solely for story generation and do not store or reuse it for any other purpose.

Snowball Interactive Ltd remains the data controller, and OpenAI acts as a data processor under our instructions.

6. Emails, Push Notifications & Analytics

We may use your data to:

• Send transactional emails (onboarding, subscription updates, or account changes)

• Deliver push notifications about new stories or features (optional and can be disabled)

• Collect analytics to improve performance, reliability, and design

 

All such services act as data processors and may not use or share your data independently.

We share data only with trusted third-party providers that help us deliver the Service:

• Supabase (AWS eu-west-2) – data storage and authentication

• OpenAI – AI story generation

• Apple – authentication and in-app purchases

• Analytics providers – app usage and performance insights

 

All partners process data on our behalf, in compliance with the UK GDPR, and under signed data processing agreements.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service.

 

When you request account deletion:

• Your request is processed within two (2) working days.

• During this time, your account and data remain securely stored but inaccessible.

• After deletion, all personal data (including child profiles and story data) is permanently removed from active systems and backups within 30 days.
